The Automotive Lighting industry has a strong focus for OEMs as the lights give their cars and brand a signature and face. The geometry complexity is big and the physics necessary in thermal simulations of head and tail lights is challenging engineers as well as CFD software.

This webinar out of a series of webinars will focus on the fundamentals of automotive lights in terms of geometry and requirements on the CFD software. It will show the complexity and point out the physics necessary to solve the simulation tasks of modern automotive lighting engineers.

Topics such as LEDs, Xenon and OLED and LASER light sources will be touched as well as physics such as condensation and icing and radiation with solar loading.
